JINGLERING: Vonage Pre-Call Test

  1. Right Click the following link and select "open link in new tab" to start your Pre-call Test - Video API Diagnostic Tools | Vonage Video API Developer

 

  1. NOTE: for the purposes of this test please use your onboard camera and microphone if you have them.  Any external camera and microphone setups will be tested at a separate date if needed.

 

  1. Click the “Use Pre-Call Test” button

 

  1. Click “Run Test”

 

  1. When prompted allow program to use camera and microphone
  2. The Pre-call Test will begin (see below screenshot of test screen)
  • The test may take several minutes
  • It is recommended you are in front of your camera and that you periodically talk while the test runs (“testing 1...2...3, testing, testing, check, check….”)

  1. When the Pre-call test is complete you will be taken to a test summary page

  1. Scroll through to review your results
  • If you experience any errors (see example “Audio - Device Issue” error below”) in your results contact Support at (insert support number)

  • if your results are OK you should see the below:

  1. scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save this data as simple text”

  • A new pop-up window will open with the text readout of your results
  • Highlight the Precall Results Summary information

  • Press CTRL+C to copy the highlighted text
  • Create a REPLY to your email ticket
  • Press CTRL+V to paste the copied text into the body of the Email
  • Send the EMAIL reply with your Pre-call Results Summary
  1. You are done!  Our support team will contact you if there is any additional follow-up or issues!
